Portsmouth 50m Pool
We are happy to continue with the Long Course training in the new 50m pool in Portsmouth at the Mountbatten sports complex and also to be able to include more swimmers than in the Winter/Spring. There will be four 2 hour training sessions from 6.45-8.45pm on Saturday evening of:

Annalise back in top shape at Hampshire Schools’ gala
West Wight swimmer Annalise Jerram who has had two years of set backs with knee problems and surgery is making a huge come back in the pool. Annalise, and many other island swimmers, represented their school in the annual Hampshire Schools Championships and Annalise returned to the island as Hampshire Schools Champion in both the 100m breaststroke and 200 Fly.
Over the last two week-ends swimmers have been competing in the annual Hampshire Development meet and produced 50 PBs and some spectacular swims.
A special mention goes to Ella Hillier who won the BGCATS overall points trophy for the girls 13yrs age.
Ella was 2nd in the standings before her last event the 200 fly and produced a massive 26 seconds PB in a time of 2.51.76 to move into first position and clinch the top girl trophy.
Swimming Division 12 Relay Gala
Four swimmers from Christ the King College represented Hampshire, in two events, at the Division 12 Round of the English Schools Primary Relay Gala at Basingstoke on Sunday 25th April 2010.
The team qualified for this event by competing at the Hampshire gala in March and achieving 3rd place in the Medley relay. From this event they were selected to race against top teams from Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex and the Channel Islands.
